FormscanBy Mark Nunan - LEVER DU SOLEIL was going to run in a valuable event at Cork but was taken out due to quick ground and is re-routed here to make his handicap chase debut. He hasn’t matched his Flat exploits under National Hunt rules thus far, but he’s a fair hurdler who has acquired a nice bit of chasing experience at this stage. He could make the most of what looks a decent mark if putting in a good round of jumping. Scheu Time came through to touch off Bridge Native at Galway earlier in the month and both have chances, although the latter has had a very busy schedule of late. Benefit Run wasn’t far behind the pair in fourth on that occasion and this consistent sort is ridden for the first time by an in-form 5lb claimer. Ar Eagla Na Heagla was left clear at the last when winning this last year but has more on her plate this time around.
