FormscanBy Tom Weekes - GEE REX can follow up his recent all-weather winning debut with a second Claimer win here. A capable type (he finished eighth in the 2018 Coventry Stakes), he comes here clearly fit and well-in at the weights (he is now rated 85 following his win 12 days ago) and dropping back to a mile won't inconvenience him having won at this trip in June. Pat Murphy has done a fine job in getting Angel Palanas to win three consecutive races and he has solid claims as he reverts to the all-weather. All four of his British wins have been on the all-weather at Southwell and while reverting to today's surface should suit, all his seven wins have been at seven furlongs so stretching to a mile isn't ideal. Boitron's official 100 rating seems very exciting and while he was a Listed winner in August 2018, his form tailed off last year, also having had wind surgery. He was withdrawn from a recent Claimer due to unsuitable ground and while he has obvious claims on best form, was bought for just 14,000gns last January. Stablemates Mulzamm and Tony The Gent can get involved from lowish weights while Pulse Of Shanghai won here last-time but today's mile trip might stretch him slightly. %0A
