FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Very well bred DIDEROT can win on debut. Hailing from a top yard and a leading owner, four of DIDEROT's five siblings have already won (including an American Grade 3 winner) and being out of a Group 2 winning dam, is very likely to have good ability. Shackleton Hero has shown useful form in three maiden starts todate and comes here following a sound runner-up effort behind experienced winner Zozimus (who had previously finished a close second in a Curragh handicap). Dropping in trip shouldn't be a problem but he is clearly vulnerable to smart types. Cursory Exam is also ran well in a a handicap here recently. That was his first start on the all-weather and while he comes here very much proven on the surface and at this trip, is also very vulnerable to smart types. Visualisation (by No Nay Never and a half-brother to smart Asking) and Miss March (out of a winning dam who is related to Stakes performers) are two other notable newcomers. Secret Road is the first foal from a mare who is a half-sister to a 2yo Group 3 winner.
