FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Solerina didn't raise her son PAIRC NA NGAEL to be a winless 99-rated chaser but he looks sure to better that number. PAIRC NA NGAEL was foiled in a Limerick Christmas gamble last year and while rated just 106 over hurdles, is totally unexposed in both codes and should benefit hugely from stepping to this trip. Similarly owned Sir Bob won over hurdles at Navan in January and while rated 9lbs lower over fences with previous placed chase form, he is also long-absent. Hilltop Supreme won four consecutive handicap hurdles last season and while winless in 13 chase starts, is now rated 20lbs lower over fences. He lacks race-fitness but looks likely to win races from his rating. Father Jed had been in excellent form this year but was well beaten at Punchestown recently and would ideally prefer a sound surface. Lessofdnegativity was well beaten at Killarney but had previously run well at Sligo.
