FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Hard to look beyond the 103-rated NOTRE BELLE BETE and he’s well-drawn into the bargain. Darren Bunyan’s colt got to within two-and-a-half lengths of subsequent 2,000 Guineas winner Poetic Flare on his debut at this course last month. He wasn’t as good at the Curragh last time when fourth in a less competitive Stakes race, but at least he showed his first run was no fluke and stepping up to a mile shouldn’t be a problem. Ebeneezer Perry hasn’t been seen since finishing third behind a useful type on debut here last summer, but he could be a danger as the form of Privilege’s debut run, also at this venue last term, hasn’t worked out. Bipartisanship was third more recently over course and distance and although the two in front of her were well-held when upped in class next time, the filly a place behind her has since won a maiden.
