FormscanBy Tom Weekes - FIL THE POWER might gain compensation for a luckless passage at the Curragh. Winner Raise You's wanderings (shied from whip but deemed accidental) caused significant interference to FIL THE POWER, with his rider reporting to the stewards 'his mount was turned sideways in the straight'. With normal luck today he will be involved and, being a 4yo, has shown progression in recent times and is open to more improvement. Pepperone Pete was eighth in that Curragh race and while he was hit with a a 17lbs hike for winning at Navan in March, is ground-versatile and can still get involved. Dedillon won at the 20th attempt at Dundalk last month and has her chance from a 7lbs higher mark and is also ground-versatile. Morning Approach won on debut at Dundalk last December and while she is open to improvement being a 3yo, also lacks experience and a recent run. Mk Drama brings good recent form here but would ideally prefer softer ground while Fearless Girl also comes here in good form but her best form has also been on soft. Longbourn ran well on his reappearance run at Dundalk last month and has claims, despite not appearing ahead of the handicapper.
