FormscanBy Tom Weekes - CORNERKOVA's form is consistently useful and while forecast rain might inconvenience somewhat, is well suited by the trip. Her last four runs were good, she was beaten by a subsequent winner at Kilbeggan in July and won nicely there recently. Lady De Vesci, a five-time flat winner, would also prefer a sound surface and has been running well in similar handicap hurdles. Paula's Prayer, who goes on soft, disappointed badly at Downpatrick in May but had good previous hurdles form and could run well following a break. Bonarc has won just once in 25 starts but contested better handicaps on all her recent runs and should get involved. Castlegrange reverts to hurdles from an 11lbs lower rating and while a little unexposed over hurdles, would appreciate further and also makes his seasonal reappearance. Oighear Dubh returned from a 1,020 days absence at Killarney and while his hurdles rating has fallen to 94, would also appreciate a much longer trip.
