FormscanBy Mark Nunan - A handicap with plenty of depth to it and TUNE THE CHELLO looks tempting off a light weight with Jordan Gainford taking 5lb off her back. The dual-winning hurdler got off the mark over fences at Limerick in July before just failing to catch Rippon Lodge in her first handicap chase at Tramore. This is a much better race but she’s open to more improvement. Henry de Bromhead has a strong hand in this because Popong was an excellent second in the Galway Blazers last time and beat Rapid Response in a novice event at this meeting last year. Lord Lariat hasn’t yet fired for new trainer Dermot McLoughlin but he was progressive in the spring and is not one to discount. Funky Dady caught the eye on his penultimate start at Galway when staying on for fourth from a long way off the pace and there is likely to be more to come from him over fences.
