Connections have an impressive track record in sourcing horses from Britain, and the Cape Cross gelding looks to have the potential to pick up a handicap or two. Lord Park looks a danger after a fine handicap debut in a strong 3-y-o event at the Curragh and his rider has recently landed two big handicap prizes for the Halford stable. Awaasef is a well-bred filly who could be on a nice opening mark, while the ex-Roger Varian inmate Bardo Contiguo stayed on well at Galway and looked like he wanted this trip.
