FormscanBy Gary Carson - NOBLE YEATS looks the one to beat here on his hurdling debut. The Yeats gelding already has jumping experience having been narrowly denied on his sole point-to-point start. He was very impressive when taking a Thurles bumper on his second 'track' outing and was far from disgraced when sixth in a hot contest won by the exciting Kilcruit at the Dublin Racing festival last time. This looks a nice opportunity to get him off the mark over hurdles at the first time of asking. Old Town Garde is engaged at Fairyhouse on Friday so there has to be a doubt about him lining out again. The danger could be point-to-point winner Mr Josiey Wales who makes his first outing for Dermot McLoughlin.
