FormscanBy Mark Nunan - LADY DAHLIA was left on the same mark after winning a back-end Curragh maiden and may improve again as a 4-year-old. She showed plenty of stamina to get up close home that day and, although unproven on a sound surface, her full-brother Leo De Fury won a Group Two on good to firm ground last year. Melliferous went close over 2m at Dundalk last month and gives Joseph O’Brien a strong hand. Like the selection, Scott Lang is a handicap debutant and has run well in all three maidens so is another unexposed type worthy of consideration. Buckman Tavern had a good run at the Curragh last year, has come down a little more in the weights and should enjoy the quick ground while the first-time hooded Pempie shaped nicely over shorter last time at Leopardstown and won over 1m 4f at Dundalk during the winter.
