FormscanBy Tom Weekes - WOODROW can follow up Monday's maiden win. He progressed well in his handicap runs this winter and while Monday's 6f race was just ordinary, he won very easily and in the manner of a useful type. His official revised rating hasn't been published at time of writing but he is sure to have gone up in the ratings for his recent win and while he has top weight here, a capable 7lbs apprentice is booked. Hodd's Girl did beat WOODROW when winning over course and distance in December and is an obvious danger but is 5lbs worse off with the progressive selection today. Ahyoka also won over CD in September and comes here largely unexposed. She has a 9lbs higher mark today but should still go well with Colin Keane again on board. Blastofmagic, Early Call and Pillar were all behind Hodd's Girl here in December.
