Leading hunter chaser It Came To Pass is set to reappear at Punchestown next following a disappointing run at the Cheltenham festival last month.
The 11 year old won last year's renewal of the Open Hunters Chase at Cheltenham and while well held in seventh in this year's renewal under professional jockey Richie McLernon, is set to be reunited with regular amateur rider Maxine O'Sullivan at Punchestown.
The gelding's trainer Eugene O'Sullivan reports “It Came To Pass is 100% and this weekend came too soon for him. He'll be in Punchestown now along with (stablemate) Warriors Tale.”
