FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Ger Lyons does well when dropping his horses into claimers and BRINGBACKMEMORIES may be a case in point. The Iffraaj gelding was third a couple of times early in the season before finishing runner-up in a decent conditions event over course and distance in May. He’s been disappointing on his latest two outings but should be a major player in this company. He goes without the headgear worn recently and any rain would be a plus. Mischief Star is a regular in these races and just got the better of Ideal Pal at Ballinrobe last month. The latter is 6lb better off but Mischief Star, runner-up at Leopardstown last week, is very reliable at this level and may confirm the placings. Supposedtobe was well behind Mischief Star at Gowran in May but has since run creditably in big-field handicaps for his new yard and is another to consider.
