FormscanBy John O'Riordan - WOMALKO can strike on just his second start for Gordon Elliott. The six-year-old was turned over at odds on on his stable debut at this track last month but Elliott is sure to have learned plenty from that. Travelling easily throughout, the gelding found less than expected when push came to shove. Perhaps he will be held onto just that bit longer before making his challenge. Happy Dreams is a creditable threat having won his last two starts over fences. He showed real battling qualities to get up at Navan last time and if there are any chinks in the Elliott horses armour, he is best placed to exploit them. Serenity Grove was bitterly disappointing at Tipperary last time but is almost certainly capable of better. Connections will be hoping that the application of headgear works the oracle.
An extended handicap steeplechase for four years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 1st May 2022, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons (123 = 11st 12lbs)
