Oscar Rebel keeps on improving and showed a good turn of foot to eventually wear down Serpentaria on the run-in. According to winning trainer Liam Burke "Oscar Rebel keeps surprising me and I didn't think she's be good enough here! She is only an ordinary horse at home but she keeps improving and is brave out. She'll go chasing next season." The winner has a bright future and will win her share of novice events next season.

Serpentaria won two hurdle races impressively recently and narrrowly failed here. She is a smart mare, is rated 80 on the Flat and although the step up from novice company is not likely to help her cause, should win more races next season,

Moskova was not helped by a mistake at the first but ran a good race. She has the option of going back to the Flat and is in fine form at present.

My Valley ran fine here earlier this week and may have been a little closer again had she not had the extra race. A summer campaign is likely to bring further success, although she may be better handicapped on the Flat.

Give It Time took a horrible looking fall before the straight and while in touch, would possibly have done well to finish as strongly as the winner.

Native Royal, unlucky here during the week, ran a sound race but returned lame while the well backed Brave Betsy, who disappointed, was reported to be in-season post race.

Enchanted Breeze was reported by her trainer to be in-season, prior to running.
