FormscanBy Tom Weekes - RICK DALTON makes his seasonal reappearance on all-weather debut but has capable form on good ground, so should be ok on this surface. Last year's maiden form was useful, notable finishing behind two subsequent Stakes winners at the Curragh in June and operates well at a mile. On a strict form-line with Moe Sedway, whom he beat a short-head at Tipperary in August, he has an edge over chief rival Relevant Range, who was subsequently beaten six lengths by Moe Sedway. Relevant Range, however, has proven form over CD and holds El Campeador, Expound and Areana on previous meetings. Areana was beaten two lengths by Relevant Range on debut last month but appeared somewhat backward and should improve.
