Caesar Rock was rated a good bit lower over hurdles compared to several of these rivals but made a bright start over fences when second over 3m at Punchestown. He was a place in front of the selection on that occasion and is obviously open to plenty of improvement. Chinx Of Light has won three of his five starts over hurdles and is an interesting contender on chase debut while Walking On Glass shaped with promise on his chasing bow at Clonmel. Alfa Mix, very useful over hurdles, went close in a handicap at Punchestown in November and drops back into beginners company after struggling in valuable handicaps since then.
