The Gutaifan gelding was twice narrowly defeated over a mile at Gowran in the spring and was returning from a break when beaten fractions at Tipperary earlier this month. He’s entitled to be sharper for that outing and can gain a deserved success. Solar Breeze just failed to get up over this trip at Naas in May and has continued to run creditably since. She was placed over a furlong further at the Curragh last month but this trip may suit better. Relevant Range was placed a couple of times over 6f earlier in the campaign before running twice in three days at the Killarney July meeting. His third in a useful rated race on the latter occasion was a decent effort and he’s a player back in maiden company.
