FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Dual Grade 1 winner BACARDYS began his chase career in November 2017 and showed old ability when runner-up on his fences return in November. He competed exclusively in high class races from March 2019 until reverting to fences at Gowran and while well beaten by Bob Olinger, had subsequent Grade 1 winner Master McShee in third. He disappointed in a Grade 1 over Christmas but drops in grade today. Grand Paradis has disappointed over fences but remains interesting. A faller at the second last when held in a hot beginners chase in October, his jumping has left him down and on a line through Diol Ker (fifth at Gowran), has a bit to find with the selection. Egality Mans is lightly-raced and his trainer's second-string but was in the process of running well when falling at the second last on chase debut recently. Minella Escape made early mistakes when beaten 20 lengths by Grand Paradis recently while Floueur, rated 136, was well held in a hot beginners chase over Christmas. 132 rated Everglow looked held behind falling Egality Mans at Punchestown.
