Formscan - Third in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle at Newbury on New Year's Eve, Idalko Bihoue is very interesting on his chasing debut today and could be tough to beat if at his best. However, he was a well-beaten last of five at Ayr when on his latest outing in April and has a few questions to answer, so the vote goes to SNAKE ROLL. A decent novice over timber himself, he was third in a Grade 2 at Kelso in March and looks the type to be suited by larger obstacles for local handler Lucinda Russell. Pats Choice has chase experience on his side and Gordon Elliott's six-year-old is very much respected on his easy handicap success over fences at Wexford in June.
