Permission was given for Volatile Analyst (USA) and Apollo One (GB) to go early to post and be mounted on the chute and for Asjad (GB), Fivethousandtoone (IRE) and Popmaster (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.

Michael Dods was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
David Probert, the rider of Commanche Falls (GB), was unseated shortly after leaving the stalls.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no other horse or rider was involved and was caused by Commanche Falls (GB) rearing in the stalls as the start was affected, unbalancing Probert, and then rearing again after leaving the stalls and ducking sharply left-handed, unseating Probert.
Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that David Probert, the rider of Commanche Falls (GB), was mounted as the start was affected and deemed Commanche Falls (GB) to be a runner.
The Stewards noted that leaving the stalls, Tabdeed (GB), unplaced, was badly hampered by Commanche Falls (GB) unseating David Probert.
The winner, Rohaan (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at York on 11 May 2022 where the gelding finished eighth of nine, beaten by 17 ¾ lengths.
David Evans’ explanation that the gelding has taken time to return to form since coming back from Saudi Arabia and has dropped in back in class to a handicap and to a track where it has tended to run well previously was noted.
Rohaan (IRE) was routine tested.
