An enquiry was held to consider interference near the 1 furlong marker on the first circuit involving Sovereign Duke (GER), unplaced, ridden by Rhys Clutterbuck; Kaizer (GB), unplaced, ridden by Aiden Brookes; The Predictor (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Cam Hardie and Levitate (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Franny Norton.

The interference was found to be accidental in that The Predictor (IRE) had crossed over in front of Levitate (IRE) when sufficiently clear and established its position, before a short distance later, The Predictor (IRE) then relaxed underneath Hardie and decelerated at the same time as Levitate (IRE) had taken a strong hold under Norton and improved back up inside the heels of The Predictor (IRE) where there was insufficient room, which resulted in Sovereign Duke (GER) being significantly checked against the rail and in turn caused Kaizer (GB), which was following to be badly hampered.
