I thought she mightn't be fit enough for today and I thought the 1m2f might be a bit sharp as I've never run her on the flat before today. She doesn't take a whole lot of work at home and should improve a bit for that. The young lad (Killian Hennessy) gave her a great ride and the gaps came at the right time. S. Corby, rider of Undecided trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got unbalanced at a ridge after about 1 furlong. The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr Ion Hamilton, regarding the fact that Caroline Murtagh, rider of Fiftyshadesofred, unplaced, weighed in 3lb light after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and from Mr Thomas Reilly, authorised representative of Miss Tracy M. Reilly, trainer. Caroline Murtagh stated her saddle slipped after turning into the home straight but was unaware she had lost a pad and lead cloth until she got back in after the race. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Fiftyshadesofred as per Rule 231 and took no further action.
