The Stewards interviewed P. Carberry, rider of Stilo Blue Native, concerning his use of the whip after the final hurdle. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that P. Carberry was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with his arm above shoulder height and consequently suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration. The Stewards interviewed M.F. Mooney, rider of Poznan Pilot, concerning his use of the whip after the final hurdle. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that M.F. Mooney was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with his arm above shoulder height and consequently suspended him for 2 racedays having taken his previous record into consideration.
