R.L. Moore, rider of Churchill, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not get a run in the latter stages of this race. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Churchill, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
