Permission was given for Eshaada (GB), Invite (IRE) and Tribal Craft (GB) to wear a red hood to post and for Lady Hayes (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood.
The winner, Eshaada (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with her previous run at York on 19 August 2021, where the filly finished last of the seven runners, beaten by 36 ¾ lengths.
Roger Varian's explanation that the Good to Firm ground at York was, on that occasion, too quick for the filly; Eshaada (GB) was routine tested.
Jim Crowley, the rider of the winner, Eshaada (GB), was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from 1 ½ furlongs out.
