An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 5 furlongs from the finishing line, on the first circuit, involving the winner, First Street (GB), ridden by Nico de Boinville and Zafar (GER), placed second, ridden by Miss Abbie McCain de Boinville was suspended for 6 days for careless riding as he manoeuvred his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Zafar (GER) on his inside, causing McCain’s mount to clip heels with First Street (GB) and stumble.
