An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 furlongs involving Tanqeeb (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Jason Watson, Adelante (FR), placed second, ridden by Sebastian Woods, and Hello Bangkok (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa.
The interference was found to be accidental as Tanqeeb (GB) had ducked quickly left-handed before being corrected, at the same time as Hello Bangkok (IRE), had shifted right-handed, causing Adelante (FR) to be left short of room in between.
In the final furlong, Adelante (FR), placed second, when going for a run up the inside of the winner, Barasti Dancer (IRE), shifted left-handed away from the whip causing her to make contact with the rail and become unbalanced.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Tanqeeb (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed throughout, Silvestre De Sousa reported that Hello Bangkok (IRE), placed fifth, hung both ways, and Harry Bentley reported that Daniel Dravot (GB), placed third, hung left-handed under pressure.
