Approaching the final furlong, GRACIE’S GIRL, placed third, shifted quickly left away from the whip carrying Craigburn (GB), unplaced, off its intended line causing interference to Zampa Road (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Just inside the final furlong, GRACIE’S GIRL, placed third, then hung quickly right-handed shifting What A Business (IRE), placed second, off its intended line causing interference to Is She The One (GB), unplaced, and The Lazy Monkey (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final ½ furlong when GRACIE’S GIRL, placed third, ridden by Liam Jones, interfered with Lexi The One (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Paddy Mathers.
Jones was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without timely correction resulting in Mathers having to take a check.
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Craigburn (GB), unplaced, suffered interference approaching the final furlong.
