The winner, Sizing Platinum (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Cheltenham on 26 January 2019 where the gelding finished tenth of eleven, beaten 78 lengths on good to soft ground.
Colin Tizzard’s representative’s explanation that Sizing Platinum (IRE) was suited by the faster ground on this occasion was noted.
Sizing Platinum (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race the Veterinary Officer reported that Ink Master (IRE), placed fourth, lost both hind shoes.
