An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Aces (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Stevie Donohoe; Gabrial (IRE), placed third, ridden by David Nolan and Crossing The Line (GB), placed eighth, ridden by David Probert.
The interference was found to be accidental as Crossing The Line (GB) jumped awkwardly and slightly left from stall 1 causing the gelding to lose its position on the rail, resulting in its jockey having to take a check.
Following the race, Jane Elliott reported that Sha La La La Lee (GB), placed fifth, was slowly away.
