He's very consistent and very genuine. You might not think it from his form figures but he gives his best all the time. He got into a bit of trouble at Punchestown the last day, and I'd say two and a half miles on this ground is his trip. He's quite ground dependent, and a fun horse for the summer. He jumps well and I don't see why he can't win another over hurdles before he goes over fences. The syndicate are a group of Guards. The Stewards interviewed K.C. Sexton, rider of Il Fenomeno (ITY), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that he had used his whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned him. D.E. Splaine, rider of Knockrea trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up there after. D.J. Mullins, rider of Gusty Rocky trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up thereafter.

Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each hurdle race won.
