Approximately 1 furlong out, MAIDEN’S GREEN, placed third, ridden by Richard Kingscote, shifted left, despite Kingscote’s efforts, causing Jason Watson, the rider of Everybody Dance (IRE), unplaced, to momentarily steady his mount, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of MAIDEN’S GREEN.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Everybody Dance (IRE), unplaced, ran green and hung left-handed, Richard Kingscote reported that Maiden's Green (GB), placed third, hung left-handed and Martin Dwyer reported that Profound Alexander (IRE), placed fourth, was denied a clear run.
