The winner Cultram Abbey (GB), appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Carlisle on 18 February 2019 where the gelding was pulled up.
The representative of Nicky Richards explained that the gelding may have appreciated the less competitive race on this occasion, following a report from the rider the last time that Cultram Abbey (GB) was never travelling.
His explanation was noted and Cultram Abbey (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Jordan Nailor reported that Midnight Shot (GB), which was pulled up, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
