On the run to the line, the winner, Slate House (IRE), drifted sharply right-handed into the whip causing Black Op (IRE), placed second, to be momentarily short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Slate House (IRE).
Following the race, Paddy Brennan reported that Jarveys Plate (IRE), placed fourth, was hampered by the loose horse.
