He gave him a breather after the bend and he didn't mind if someone came to challenge him. His ride was brilliant and it was excellent the way he judged the pace. For a three pound claimer it was a top class ride. He is a tough hose who loves a battle and that is what he got today. It is not good for the heart! . He might go to Haydock now in a few weeks' time for a good 4yo hurdle there. After that we have won three Premier Handicaps this season and over €200,000 in prize money. An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards (105 = 10st) Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Any horse rated above 105 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 105 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any three year old rated above 105 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap) Alternative Handicap
