- Stewards Report
Permission was given for Revolutionise (IRE) to be mounted on the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly before turning in when Young Fire (FR), unplaced, ridden by Sean Kirrane, interfered with Lethal Lunch (GB), unplaced, ridden by Alex Jary.
Being a 7lb claimer, Jary was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Kirrane was suspended for 2 days for careless riding in that when improving his position to the inside of Amber Island (IRE) he allowed his mount to drift left-handed leaving Jary with insufficient room and causing him to have to take a check off the rail.
Laura Pearson, the rider of Amber Island (IRE), placed second, was also interviewed but was found not to be involved in the incident.
Following the race, Angus Villiers reported that Total Commitment (IRE), unplaced, was denied clear run inside the final furlong and Laura Pearson reported that Amber Island (IRE), placed second, was denied clear run shortly after turning in.
