she won her maiden at Dundalk and it's taken her a while to win again. She'll make a nice broodmare, and is a full-sister to Chiclet. She goes to the December Sales and we may run her at Dundalk again. Five is as far as she can go but due to the programme we have chanced our arm with her over six a few times. The Stewards fined Miss Natalia Lupini, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Ginger Muffin, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order. The Stewards interviewed D. Fitzpatrick, rider of Roryslittlesister, placed fifth, concerning his riding in the latter stages of this race, where it appeared he stopped riding when he was in fourth place for the last few strides, and was beaten a nose into fifth place. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, in the presence of S.M. Duffy, trainer. D. Fitzpatrick stated that he thought he had achieved his best position when he had stopped riding. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion D. Fitzpatrick was in breach of Rule 212 in that he had failed to take all reasonable and permissable measures to obtain his best possible placing, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 2 racedays and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee.
