That was only two days ago but we didn't mind running again as it took nothing out of her. We'll knock around for the summer with her and leave Robbie on. Hopefully she can get another one or two wins before the handicapper stops her. She just needs to come through horses. She was in front 50 yards after the line at Leopardstown as she got to pass a horse. In fairness she tries every day and we can't fault her effort. He's had four rides and was beaten a nose on his first ride so it's good for him to get off the mark. He's light which is a big help to him and has age on his side. We'll try and nurture him along for the rest of the summer and hopefully he'll start to get plenty of rides over the winter at Dundalk. Hopefully we'll make a jockey out of him. C.D. Hayes, rider of Katies Joy trained by P.M. Cloke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too free. S. Foley, rider of Dandysteps trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he was forced to sit up for a few strides in the straight when he was denied a clear run. The Stewards interviewed D. O'Brien, rider of Elusive In Paris, unplaced, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of M. Brassil, trainer, representing the rider's master A.P. O'Brien. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion D. O'Brien was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency, and having taken his good record into account, they cautioned him.
