Luckily they were drawn low enough and they were just able to jump and sit and take their time. They didn't have to get after them early doors which is a big factor here. Cian gave the winner a great ride, he didn't panic. When he got into the straight he just switched her out and she's probably done it snug enough but hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on her. She's not badly rated compared to her all-weather mark and she has good all-weather form as well. She'll progress but she'll probably be sold at the end of the year, although my other half (Hazel McGuinness, co-owner along with Gary Devlin) owns half of her so we'll see!. The second filly (Faraah) ran a great race. She was an expensive enough yearling but hopefully she’ll get her head in front soon. An extended handicap for three years old only rated 45-65 Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st 2lbs and the minimum weight shall not be less than 8st 6lbs Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
