Permission was given for Agentleman (IRE) to go to post early and be mounted on the track.
The Starter reported that Agentleman (IRE) had refused to race after the start had been effected.
Peter Winks was interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
As the gelding had also been unruly when refusing to race at Market Rasen on 27 July 2020, Winks was informed that any future similar behaviour from Agentleman (IRE) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
The Stewards were satisfied that Agentleman (IRE) was deemed to be a runner.
At the third fence, Getaway North (GB), placed fourth, jumped sharply left-handed causing Canny Tom (IRE), placed sixth, to shift left-handed and badly crowd Bagan (GB), which fell as a result, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Getaway North (GB).
