Permission was given for Bob Ford (IRE) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the conduct of Henry Oliver, the trainer of Burrenbridge Hotel (IRE) at the start.
The trainer was interviewed and shown a recording of the incident.
Henry Oliver was found guilty of misconduct in that he had encouraged Burrenbridge Hotel (IRE), which had been reluctant to line up, by waving his arms behind the gelding.
Oliver was fined £140.
It was noted that Lee Edwards, the rider of Bob Ford (IRE), placed second, dropped his whip after the second last.
The winner, Cave Top (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Market Rasen on 26 December 2018, where the gelding finished fourth of eight, beaten 37 lengths.
Oliver Greenall explained that Cave Top (IRE) appreciated the more galloping track on this occasion, which helped the gelding to find a better jumping rhythm.
