An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the final bend when Captain Cattistock (GB), placed second, ridden by Mr Albi Tufnell, interfered with Southfield Royale (GB), placed third, ridden by Miss Lily Bradstock.
Mr Tufnell was suspended for 2 days, on dates to be notified to him by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, for careless riding as he had allowed Captain Cattistock (GB) to drift left-handed towards the rail without sufficient correction, causing Southfield Royale (GB) to be hampered.
Miss Lily Bradstock, the rider of Southfield Royale (GB), placed third, was suspended for 4 days, on dates to be notified to her by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, for using her whip above the permitted level from entering the home straight.
