The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider, in relation to the use of a mobile phone in the parade ring, prior to this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 16 and severely cautioned her concerning her future responsibilities in this regard.
