- Stewards Report
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Must Be An Angel (IRE), placed third, ridden by Elinor Jones; Tagovailoa (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen; Pour La Victoire (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Jack Mitchell and Man Of The Sea (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Oliver Stammers.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Jones was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Jones was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she was slow to correct her mount from shifting left-handed, tightening Tagovailoa (IRE) onto Pour La Victoire (IRE), which was checked and in turn bumped the hindquarters of Man Of The Sea (IRE) which became unbalanced.
Following the race, Jane Elliott reported that Mountain Rescue (IRE), unplaced, hung badly left.
