The Veterinary Officer reported that Catuaba (IRE), trained by Charlie Longsdon, appeared to be suffering from ringworm and the trainer did not have a Certificate of Non-Contagiousness.
Longsdon was fined £140 and skin scrapings from the horse were sent for analysis.
On the approach to the final hurdle Thruthelookinglass (GB) jinked sharply right unseating its rider, and slightly hampered Fame And Concrete (IRE), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
