It’s not very often you get to win two €100,000 handicaps one after another,. He’s a lovely horse, very professional. We thought this was his trip and we fancied him, we thought he’d run a big race. We thought in the Curragh that he idled a little bit in front. A couple of people were saying that some horses were finishing well but I just think he idled a little bit. We made sure that we had him coming home today. He gave him a great ride and it was a good bit of placing by Ed (brother). We’ll see what the handicapper does. I’d love to bring him to Galway. It would be a tough feat but I think he would suit the place. He’s got gate speed and stays. He’ll handle a bit of ease in the ground as well if there is a slight ease there. That was good. He’s a right horse on that ground and obviously over different trips too. Ronan Whelan rode him one day at Galway over this trip when he finished fourth. Ronnie said he stayed the trip, but he was a little bit outclassed. He was good today. We took Joe’s 10lb off him, that’s his last winner now with 10lb. He was great value for 10lb, but it will make things a little bit easier for him now. He’ll be able to do a bit lighter weights now that he’s down to 7lb. Things didn't happen for her at Galway where she didn't handle the track, but she had been knocking on the door and we're delighted with her. She kept finishing placed so had been frustrating but we thought a lot of her last year, when her maiden form was very good. Things went wrong afterwards, she got sore shins and her head went a little bit but we have her back now and she is really doing things right. Shane said it was lovely to have another horse to aim at (clear leader No Such Thing) and she really enjoyed chasing, although didn't do much when she got to the front. I hope this is a step in the right direction and hopefully she can keep progressing.

The last day (fifth at Leopardstown) he ran well enough from a bad draw. . I always thought this trip would suit him, but he still had to prove that. It’s nearly a mile-and-three in Dundalk and I think that was a bit far, this is an easier mile-and-two. I think it suited him perfectly and he relaxed better, which was something he wasn’t doing. We went down to the start to help that and he stayed relaxed throughout. I’ll always make them a bit slower anyway, so he probably will stay!.
