Captain Cobajay I was humming and hawing about running him because of the ground,. I kind of fancied him because of his experience even though he had went up plenty in the weights. He did it quite well and we'll see what happens now. He was probably the two mile horse in it and he's learnt from his few falls. He didn't jump as well today as he normally does though. It's great to get the win anyway. He's a summer horse and I was praying we'd get another couple of fines weeks but he's paid his way.

Captain Cobajay He tripped here three runs ago and fell when he looked like he would be first or second and was second in Tramore the last day. Good ground is key to him and we were struggling to get him into races. I was thinking yesterday whether or not I'd run him from 5lbs out of the handicap but I looked at the calendar and there was nothing coming up so I had to run him. Adam (Short) then got hurt and I had never met Simon (Torrens) but he gave him a great ride and the 4lbs was a big help. We'll look for a similar race again next.
