Dasmyhoss He’s a lovely horse and Robbie bought him for the owners and won a bumper with him in Tramore. He was just behind Le Richebourg on his first run in a bumper but they have gone slightly separate ways since!. He’s a lovely horse and hopefully there will be another one of those in him. He’ll jump a fence and also finished second at the Curragh last year so there are plenty of options for him. He likes a bit of nice ground so we’ll keep kicking on with him.

Stoughan Cross I was hopeful but he’s a horse we’ve had a lot of trouble with, and Jim (Nevin, owner) has shown fantastic patience and really stood by him. I was ready to give up on him a number of times,.

The Holy One He drifted out a bit but Paddy said that if he had pulled his stick through he would have hit the other horse,. He battled well and I'm delighted with him. I don't know if the ground was just a bit too sticky for him or what happened in Limerick last time. He loves that good ground and he'll head on to Punchestown now.

Eviscerating Evan gave him a good ride. It's a good job the horse has such a big head!. I thought he was beat but when we saw the replay, I was standing with Eddie, and his head was down at the line so we thought he had a little chance because he hit the line well. In those 50/50 ones you'll come out the wrong end half the time and the better side the other half. He's a huge horse and he'll definitely be better when he jumps fences. It's nice that he's won a hurdle now because it looked like we were going to struggle to get him to do that for a while.

City Island It was an ideal race for him to have a run before he goes over. They are mad keen to have a horse to run in their own race (the Mulryans in the Ballymore) at Cheltenham and thankfully we might have fallen on one,. It's been the plan since Galway and we just picked out a couple of races to fit in. Hopefully it will be onwards and upwards from here, as long as there is racing. He jumps very well. We might as well be running around for a few quid as running around for nothing. He's a nice horse to have. Mark said he'll probably get three miles in time so the trip of the Cheltenham race won't be an inconvenience anyway, I wouldn't think.
